9,300 tremors have rattled the island of El Hierro since July 2011
October 7, 2011 -- CANARY ISLANDS -- Intense swarms of tremors beneath one of the volcanic Canary Islands has placed residents of El Hierro on alert for a possible eruption. Spain's Instituto Geografico Nacional (IGN) reported the 9,300 seismic movements on the island since July 17 have caused measurable changes in the terrain. El Hierro's only eruption during recorded history was in 1793, when the Volcano de Lomo Negro vent rumbled for a month and produced lava flows. Seismologists say they don't know if the rising ball of lava causing the latest rumblings will break through the surface, but they have issued a "yellow" alert as a precaution. IGN Director Maria Jose Blanco told reporters that any eruption would most likely have a "low explosive value." Tremors about 50,000 years ago produced an enormous landslide that cascaded into the ocean, creating a large tsunami that probably reached the North American coast. -- Earth Week
It is said that the Great Warning shall come when the conditions of our world were at their worst and that during this event every human on Earth will see the wrong he/she has done and the good he/she has failed to do. The Great Warning will be sent by God to correct the conscience of the world and prepare it for the Great Miracle.

Oddities with last week's Virginia Earthquake
I was listening a broadcast from Richard Hoagland the other day and he pointed out some anomalies about the earthquake in Virginia last week. The biggest oddity was the inability to pill down the depth. I remember myself at the time seeing the depth vary from .1km (approx. 300ft) to 1km, which is quite unusual for an earthquake. Then the was the range where it was felt, all the way up to Canada, but not correspondingly as far south.
Here's a summary of what others have to say about this:
Here's a summary of what others have to say about this:
Location: The location is the most obvious anomaly for such a powerful quake. Although the area of the U.S. where the earthquake initiated sits on the edge of an ancient tectonic plate called the Craton Plate, it is considered a relatively dormant or settled area. In other words, it’s not a very active earthquake zone.Full article for these conclusions is from Eric Blair here: TheIntelHub
Unusually Shallow Depth: The initial hypocenter (depth) of the quake reported by the establishment media was, wait for it, wait for it, only 0.1 miles or about 528 feet (161 meters) deep. That’s right, AFP announced the depth with certainty, “The Pentagon, the US Capitol and monuments in the nation’s capital were all evacuated after the 5.9-magnitude quake, which was shallow with its epicenter only 0.1 miles underground."
Odd Seismograph Reading: A reporter from Press Core received an anonymous email from someone claiming to be in the U.S. Air Force that stated the Virginia earthquake “wasn’t a natural earthquake and not a HAARP earthquake."
Distance Felt: As my introduction stated, I’ve never “felt” an earthquake whose epicenter was farther than 50 miles away. Of course, this doesn’t mean that it’s not possible, as clearly this was felt upwards of 500 miles from the epicenter
‘Remarkably Low’ Number of Aftershocks: Amy Vaughan, a geophysicist with the USGS Earthquake Information Center in Colorado told CBS News that ”For the size earthquake that occurred, I think the number of aftershocks so far has been remarkably low.”
Instantaneously Knocked Irene Off Course: Kevin Hayden and Glenn Kreisberg reported “Coincidentally, the time frame leading up to Virginia/DC/New York area experiencing freak seismic activity, Hurricane Irene begins to weaken and move off course, avoiding its initial path of Havanna, inland Florida, the Carolinas, and eventually, the Washington, DC area.

What is happening around 37.75 N degrees lattitude?
Bearing in mind the previous posts today, about the eruption of Mt. Etna and the earthquake in Spain. We ask ourselves what is happening along the 37.7N latitude, and are these events connected.
Mt. Etna
37.74° N
Spain Earthquakes
37.699 N
and
37.693 N
Is there magma moving from Spain east towards Etna. The Italian earthquake watch continues.
What other locations are around this latitude?
Fukishima (location of the critical Nuclear reactor)
37.75N
Fort Knox
37.8 N
San Francisco
37.75N
New Madrid, MO (epicenter of the 1811-1812 New Madrid earthquakes isn't too far either)
36.61N
Just a reminder, this year is the 200th anniversary of the New Madrid earthquake with events planned, including a major FEMA exercise next week.
Edited to add: I noticed this post was copied to GLP without credit or a linkback. Thanks for that. :(
Also added: I just got a message that the booms last night in Virginia that I mentioned in an earlier post today were around the same latitude. As well, the distance of one degree latitude is approximately 69 miles.

Two Earthquakes hit Spain, 4.5 and 5.2
Not Italy like the Bendandi story said, but these two could be foreshocks for something bigger.
Some Twitter comments from acarrionm include the fact that five people died, one of them a child. He was on the 11th floor when it happened but didn't think it was as bad as they see now.

Edgar Cayce and today's Mt. Etna eruption
There's some news that Mt. Etna in Italy is erupting today (May 11, 2011).
This prediction dated until 1998, but with the flooding of the Midwest, it seems timely.
This prediction dated until 1998, but with the flooding of the Midwest, it seems timely.
Edgar Cayce predicted that dramatic physical changes would affect the Earth in the years 1958-1998 and would begin with the eruption of Mt. Etna.
The Great Lakes would empty into the Gulf of Mexico linked with a time when ancient repositories would be discovered as people reached the appropriate level of consciousness. The three repositories mentioned are Egypt, the Bimini area, and the Yucatan.
After activities by Mt. Vesuvius, Mt. Pelee, the southern coast of California, the areas between Great Salt Lake and the southern portions of Nevada, we may expect, within the three months following, inundation by earthquakes, more in the Southern than the Northern Hemisphere. Portions of the New York, or New York City itself, will disappear as well as the southern portions of Carolina, Georgia.
Land will appear in the Atlantic and Pacific. Rise of Atlantis. And what is the coast line now of many a land will be the bed of the ocean. Even many battle fields of the present will be oceans, seas, the bays, the lands over which 'The New World Order' will carry on their trade as one with another.
The waters of the lakes will empty into the Gulf. It would be well if the waterway were prepared, but not for that purpose for which it is at present being considered. Then the area where I am now located (Virginia Beach) will be among the safety lands, as will be portions of what is now Ohio, Indiana and Illinois, and much of the southern portion of Canada and the eastern portion of Canada, while the western land -- much of that is to be disturbed as, of course much in other lands.
The greater portion of Japan must go into the sea.
The upper portion of Europe will be changed as in the twinkling of an eye.
When there is the first breaking up of some conditions in the South Sea and those as apparent in the sinking or rising of that that's almost opposite same, or in the Mediterranean, and the Etna area, then we many know it has begun.
There will be the upheavals in the Arctic and in the Antarctic that will make for the eruption of volcanoes in the torrid areas, and there will be the shifting then of the poles - where there has been those of a frigid or the semi-tropical will become the more tropical, and moss and fern will grow.
Strifes will arise through the period. Watch for them near the Davis Strait [between Greenland and Canada] in the attempts there for the keeping of the life line to land open. Watch for them in Libya and in Egypt, in Ankara and in Syria, through the straits about those areas above Australia, in the Indian Ocean and the Persian Gulf.

Japan quake of March 2011 shifted the country; Towns now flood at high tide
This is an interesting post from the Associated Press. The recent earthquake in Japan shifted the level of the country so during periods of high tide certains parts of the country flood.
The entire article is here.
When water begins to trickle down the streets of her coastal neighborhood, Yoshiko Takahashi knows it is time to hurry home.
Twice a day, the flow steadily increases until it is knee-deep, carrying fish and debris by her front door and trapping people in their homes. Those still on the streets slosh through the sea water in rubber boots or on bicycle.
"I look out the window, and it's like our houses are in the middle of the ocean," says Takahashi, who moved in three years ago.
The March 11 earthquake that hit eastern Japan was so powerful it pulled the entire country out and down into the sea. The mostly devastated coastal communities now face regular flooding, because of their lower elevation and damage to sea walls from the massive tsunamis triggered by the quake.

Romans fearful of earthquake forecast for May 11, 2011
Still more about Wednesday's predicted earthquake for Italy. Again, as I mentioned in separate post, there is no information that Bendandi actually said anything about Rome in 2011.
Entire article can be found at Yahoo! News.
If tourists find Rome unusually quiet next Wednesday, the reason will probably be that thousands of locals have left town in fear of a devastating earthquake allegedly forecast for that day by a long-dead seismologist.
For months Italian internet sites, blogs and social networks have been debating the work of Raffaele Bendandi, who claimed to have forecast numerous earthquakes and, according to internet rumors, predicted a "big one" in Rome on May 11.
The national television network RAI has run programs aimed at calming rising panic among Romans. The civil protection agency has issued statements reiterating the official scientific view that earthquakes can't be predicted.
Yet many residents of the Eternal City aren't listening.
"I'm going to tell the boss I've got a medical appointment and take the day off," barman Fabio Mengarelli told Reuters. "If I have to die I want to die with my wife and kids, and masses of people will do the same as me."

Doomsday prophet in Taiwan sparks panic for May 11, 2011
This is from a recent article from the BBC.
Police in Taiwan are investigating a self-proclaimed prophet whose doomsday warnings on a blog have caused panic.
The man, identifying himself as Teacher Wang, said Taiwan would be struck by a magnitude-14 earthquake and 170m (560ft) high tsunami on 11 May.
More than 100 cargo containers have been bought and set up in a mountainous area of central Taiwan.
Police said they were investigating if the blogger had conspired with a container business to defraud people.
"Teacher Wang" suggested people live in such containers to survive the disaster, which he said would kill millions of people and split the island in half.

Is a violent earthquake expected in Rome next week?
Translated from Italian at this site
According to one other article that I've read in the Italian press, there may be no foundation to the May 11, 2011 date and it is only a story propagated by the Internet.
Interesting to note that April 6th, 2012 is the Good Friday. This might be the perfect opportunity for a "Great Warning" for the entire world.
Raffaele Bendandi ... the man who predicts earthquakes.
In 2011 a violent earthquake is expected in Rome.
Can we predict earthquakes? Bendandi claimed to be able to predict earthquakes - Raffaele Bendandi, also known as the man of earthquakes, was born in Faenza, 17 October 1893.
Bendandi said he had discovered how to produce earthquakes and said to be able to predict an earthquake.
He was born to a humble family in the area traditionally known as Old Spinning Mill, which could not afford to continue with higher education (he finished elementary school, a course for technical drawing and became an apprentice to a watchmaker), nevertheless all 'age of 10 he was already fond of astronomy and geophysics, as to build himself a telescope and some gyroscopes (in fact he was a wood sculptor by profession).
Following the earthquake of Messina on 28 December 1908, became interested in earthquakes, and succeeded, according to him, even to predict them.
After his experience as an apprentice to a watchmaker, he enrolled in an Art School, to become a carver of religious statues and chandeliers, Emilia. During World War I served as a mechanic in an air squadron. Bendandi You can define the self as a researcher, who in 1920 formulated his theory of "seismogenic". His theory has its origins in a walk along the beach, while serving on guard during his naja: in 1919 he senses that the earth's crust, as well as the tides, is subject to the effects of gravitational pull of the moon.
His theory for the prediction of earthquakes (never recognized by the scientific community) was in fact based on the fact that the moon and other planets (along with the Sun) are the cause of the movements of the crust, which actually swollen, deformed and evokes the Earth's crust, with timing and rhythm-dependent position of celestial bodies.
He went on with his studies also using a mini laboratory moved into a deep cave of 'Tuscan-Romagnolo Apennines. One of his first forecast the involuntarily made for the earthquake of Marsica January 13, 1915, when he realized that 27 October of the previous year had left a note in this regard.
Until then very few people believe his theories, November 23, 1923 before the notary of Faenza decided to write his own prediction: January 2, 1924 an earthquake will occur in the Marche. The earthquake actually occurred, but two days later. However, the Corriere della Sera devoted the front page, calling him to predict earthquakes, and his fame grew so also internationally.
In his studies, was also in charge of astronomy, geophysics, magnetic, cosmic and atmospheric studies, and atmospheric radioactivity in relation to his personal atomici. Oltre purposes, its main activity was a carpenter, built with this task and managed to sell some of its models of seismographs, even in America. He succeeded in his small to acquire even a small scientific library.
During the Fascist period, namely in 1927 was appointed first by Mussolini Knight of the Order of the Crown of Italy, but was warned by publishing further predictions on earthquakes in Italy, on pain of exile, in reality, he continued to do so, but on other American newspapers.
After studying it thoroughly, in 1931 the Pontifical Academy Bendandi entrusts the method he discovered to play the eleven-year cycle of the Sun, and can result in self-financing to publish "A fundamental principle of the Universe," where he describes his previous discovery.
During his life, namely in 1959, Bendandi also discovered a new planet in the solar system between Mercury and the Sun, which he named after his hometown, Faenza.
Only later, in 1972 the American astronomer Wood and in 1976 the British astronomer Smith brought forward the method developed by Bendandi for the prediction of earthquakes, going to improve the analysis and results.
An earthquake in Friuli in 1976 was provided by his theory, he unsuccessfully tried to notify the competent authorities, which treated him as a charlatan.
He was found dead, perhaps for reasons mysterious, November 3, 1979, at his home observatory in Faenza Via Manara 17.
Bendandi, through his method, he also predicted a devastating earthquake in the city of Rome and surrounding areas for the day May 11, 2011, and another earthquake in size even more apocalyptic for between 5-6 April 2012, when several earthquakes hit patchy throughout the world.
In this last prediction, among others, many also see the catastrophic Maya prophecies for 2012.
